People have bigger and smaller MetaCurUm Biotech is a spin-off company from the department of Medical Biosciences at Umeå University, Sweden, based on the unique discoveries made by Professor Maréne Landström and her collaborators. The company was founded in 2018 and is currently a resident at the Umeå Biotech Incubator. The programme is organised by the Department of Plant Physiology (Umeå University) and the Department of Forest Genetics and Plant Physiology (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences). Together they form the Umeå Plant Science Centre, UPSC, where world leading research in plant and forest biotechnology is being conducted.
